Aspire business management software Version 5.0, scheduled for a January 2019 release, will include enhanced GPS functionality for vehicles and large assets. Throughout the next few months, we’ll host webinars and provide documentation to provide you with an in-depth look at the new features as well as enrollment information.

In order to deliver this new GPS functionality, we are partnering with Agilis Systems, a leader in GPS tracking solutions for small, mid-sized, and enterprise-sized fleets. As a result, Aspire will provide real-time GPS vehicle and asset management reporting that integrates with the Aspire Crew Mobile app and equipment tracking in Aspire Landscape to enable Aspire Landscape clients to track location, meter readings, and driving performance.

Enrollment

This is a pay-per-vehicle/asset service. Aspire will invoice you based on the number of vehicles/assets you add to your contract. You will initially enroll with Agilis directly to acquire and install the hardware on your vehicles/assets. The monthly subscription fee will be approximately $24.95 per truck and $17.95 per large asset (tractors, trailers, etc.).  Contract periods will range from 3 to 5 years. We will provide more information shortly on the enrollment, pricing, and transition plans—as you may already have contracts in place with another provider. Longer term, we are working on providing this same type of GPS functionality for large mowers.

Features

GPS Tracking

You’ll have access to real-time, GPS tracking with intuitive maps and historical playback. It’s hard to know what’s really happening out in the field. Get immediate insight into who's on the clock, where they're working, and what they're doing.

Driver Safety Monitoring

Driver scorecards allow you to track and rank driver performance to improve safe driving behavior. Vehicle tracking devices collect data on driver behavior, including speeding, harsh braking, and rapid acceleration. Managers can review these scorecards to identify areas where their drivers can improve driving habits.

Activity Alerts

Managers receive real-time alerts for speeding, harsh braking, excessive idling, and more. GPS trackers send notifications whenever an event or driving behavior occurs.

Geo-fencing & Routing Alerts

Businesses can create a virtual fence around important areas in their service region and receive notifications whenever a vehicle or asset enters or exits these regions. Geofences are especially helpful when there are employees working in different areas, and they’re a powerful way to ensure the security of vehicles and assets.

Vehicle Maintenance Tracking

Keep vehicle maintenance schedules on track and vehicles on the road. The best GPS tracking systems are also capable of automating fleet maintenance. Managers can input routine preventive maintenance schedules based on usage, miles travelled, or scheduled dates, and receive alerts when maintenance is due.

Jobs Dispatch & Messaging

Mobile apps married with tracking extend functions to daily operations. In addition to helping businesses dispatch the nearest or most convenient vehicle, GPS tracking helps managers always stay connected to their drivers.

Management Dashboards & Reporting

Track it. Measure it. Improve it.  If your business must provide IFTA reporting, GPS tracking can simplify the process by automatically generating IFTA reports for individual vehicles and entire fleets. Fleet managers can quickly access individual or fleet-wide mileage and fuel usage data, as well as tax rates for individual territories, and generate reports in seconds so they can focus on improving service instead of reporting

Visual Routing Tool

High-resolution maps provide a simple tool to view the real-time activity and status of all your vehicles and workers.

Reduce Theft & Monitor Asset Usage

When you track your assets with a GPS device, you can quickly locate each asset’s last known location, review location history, and even monitor usage using alerts for movement, power, or equipment use. With these features, you can reduce theft and further improve your employees’ productivity.
