Who should attend the Accounting Workshop?

This workshop is tailored for:

  • Growth and Corporate clients with SAS Invoiced Revenue who are live on Aspire but continue to experience challenges with End-of-Month (EOM) processes will receive targeted support in this workshop. The session is specifically designed to address their key EOM pain points and provide practical guidance to help resolve them.

  • Corporate and Enterprise clients with SAAS Invoiced Revenue will benefit from an added emphasis on inventory management during this workshop. The goal is to enhance their understanding of inventory-related processes and ensure better alignment with End-of-Month (EOM) requirements.

  • Corporate and Enterprise clients with SAAS Earned Revenue will receive focused guidance on inventory and Over/Under processes. This support is designed to help improve efficiency and accuracy during End-of-Month (EOM) activities, ensuring smoother and more reliable financial operations.

Please note, this is not a full, step-by-step walkthrough of the entire EOM process.

Are there any planned Accounting Workshops for 2025?

Yes, there are plans for six Accounting Workshops scheduled throughout 2025, covering various aspects of EOM processes. Here's the full list:

What is the registration fee for the Accounting Workshop?

The cost for the workshop is $1500 for clients that are SAS Invoiced Revenue. If you are a SAAS Invoiced Revenue client, the cost of the workshop is $1875. For SAAS Earned Revenue clients, the cost is $2250.

What will the Workshop cover?

During the Accounting Workshop, we will focus on several key areas to help your team effectively manage their financial processes and ensure accuracy. We'll roll up our sleeves and work together to get things balanced by reviewing purchase receipts, validating payments and deposits, and mastering the month-end close process, including journal entries. Additionally, we will review critical balance sheet accounts, paying close attention to making sure accounts balance. Our goal is to equip your team with the knowledge and skills to confidently navigate these essential accounting tasks.

In addition to the topics listed above, SAAS Invoiced Revenue clients will also dive deeper into their inventory management. SAAS Earned Revenue clients will go a step further, working through both inventory and Over/Under processes to enhance EOM efficiency.

Is there anything I need to do before attending the Accounting Workshop?

Yes. To maximize the benefit of the workshop, it's essential that work tickets are cleaned up beforehand. Furthermore, the individual attending should have completed both EOM Training Parts 1 and 2, as well as the EOM Checklist, and have successfully closed at least one month. This preparation ensures attendees have a foundational understanding and allows the workshop to focus on more advanced concepts and practical application.

If you're a SAAS client, you should have completed the Inventory training. For SAAS Earned clients, completion of both the Inventory and Over/Under training sessions is required.

Laptops with Accounting Software and Aspire access are also required.

What will Aspire provide?

To facilitate a productive training environment, Aspire will provide essential equipment including a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for each participant's use. Additionally, to ensure everyone remains energized and focused throughout the day, Aspire will also be providing both breakfast and lunch.

If I need to cancel, what are my options?

For cancellations made 30 or more days prior to the workshop, we are happy to reschedule you for the next available session. For cancellations made less than 30 days before the workshop, SAS clients will receive 1 Aspire Professional Services point and SAAS clients will receive 2 Aspire Professional Services points. This policy acknowledges the value of your commitment while offering a tangible benefit for late cancellations.
