Primary Responsibilities:

Your role will be hands on and working directly with our sales and marketing team to help identify, research and then connect with leading businesses, helping us to reach a larger audience of potential sales lead. You’ll also be able to help shape and define our ‘go to market’ strategy, as well as supporting our marketing team to produce content to engage with prospective clients. 

The intern should be well organized and be prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The intern chosen for this position will finish their internship at Aspire having gained a broad experience in various aspects of sales and marketing.

  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Researched companies that could greatly benefit from Aspire platform and generated lead lists for our Sales Consultant
  • Positively worked with the sales team to identify and target market opportunities
  • Conducted marketing research in order to identify sales leads
  • Learn our product, services, industries and operations.
  • Assist team members with the creation content for the blog and newsletter.
  • Enter and update client information in customer relationship management (CRM) system used by Aspire
  • Organize client contact lists, schedule, perform and update contacts made in CRM.
  • Completes other projects and tasks as assigned.Support the team in daily administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate students majoring in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn and be successful in business development, sales and marketing
  • Strong ability to be flexible and multi-task.
  • Available for 15-20 hours per week during school with potential for more
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites. Preferred but not required.
  • Customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation software experience a plus. Will train the right person
